Our client hired us to re-design their master suite as a surprise for his wife. That’s right; we said “a surprise!” About a month before they left for vacation their daughter pretended to have a project in school that actually was a fact finding mission for us. Our client’s wife loved the feel and colors of the Cape (which was where he spirited her off to while we got down to business) so for the month before their vacation, we hired plumbers, electricians, painters, shopped for new countertops, sinks, furniture, accessories…you name it, we got it and had it waiting and scheduled to get demoed and installed during their week’s vacation. It was quite a feat but one that was met with the reward of our clients wife (and him) loving it. Not to mention tears.
